Master Artists - Join our members and network with us. Enjoy an artistic atmosphere.

The Art School will be offering working artist studio space for Fine Artists that are looking for a place to create their Art. The Art School will be offering 4 hour session artist studio time at a cost of $25.00 per 4 hour session per artist. This artist studio space is shared with other local artists that need a professional environment for drawing, oil painting, acrylic painting, and mixed media Art. The 4 hour session Artist studio time blocks are non-instructive; these are not classes or art lessons provided by the School of Fine Art Winchester.

The participating Artists can store and display their artwork at the school. The school will be open to the public for viewing from 5:00 PM – 9:00PM 7 days per week. This will allow the participating Artists to display & sell their works to the public. The public will also have a chance to meet and talk with the artists.

The Artist Studio Space: Session time blocks are:

  • 9:00 AM – 1:00PM
  • 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

The School of Fine Art will from time to time schedule and reserve session blocks for Summer Art Classes, Art Courses/Lessons for Kids, Teens, and Adults. These are Instructional Art Classes/Lessons in Drawing, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor and Mixed Media.

The Artist Working Studio Space is limited so it is encouraged to reserve and schedule your time. Some Artists may prefer evening space that can be used after work, others may prefer weekends, or morning space. The space is available for the novice painter, illustrator, and right up to the professional level artist.

The Art School will be providing the Art Environment, space, easels, tables, and drawing boards. Each artist will supply their own materials such as oil paint, canvas, acrylic paint, and drawing paper. The art school will be offering storage lockers for a minimal fee of $25.00 per month.

This is a great opportunity for local artists to meet other artists, sell and display their work, have a place to go any time, and create art without the burden of a high overhead or costly art studio & gallery space. This is a very flexible program for the budget-minded artist. There are no hidden fees or contracts to sign, and there is no obligation for any artist to continue to use the space.

After all, where could you go to have a Working Art Studio, and Art Gallery that opens to the public for viewing for as little as $25.00 Per Month?

Artist Studio Space is limited, it's on a first come first serve basis. Again, it would be wise to reserve your days/evenings/weekends studio session times in advance.

The Winchester School of Fine Art is conveniently located in down town Winchester Center, at 10-12 Park Street, Winchester Massachusetts. It's easy access from the train (Boston Lowell Line) and within a two minute walk of the train station.

Motivation: Art Classes

As a fine artist, sometimes I find it hard to get motivated to paint or draw especially at home on my kitchen table, I need space to create my work, someday I'll get serious about my art, someday I'll open up a gallery,...someday...

Creativity:

As an artist, I can see things in the clouds, I notice the way light hits objects, composition in nature, bustling movement in cities, and oh, what beautiful colors. Is it just me that sees these things? Are there others like me.......

Energy:

I feel much more alive when I create Art with my peers, we have so much to share in vision and thought, it's a completely different world, it's exciting, stress is left behind when I'm with a group of my peers. I feel excited, creative, charged up and energized....

Time:

I love art, it's my real passion, I want to share it with the world, I want to learn more, only if I could find the time, With work, kids...someday I'll find the time..someday...

Atmosphere:

As an artist, atmosphere make a difference on my creativity, it effects my thoughts and moods, it evokes my emotion, the right atmosphere gets my creative juices flowing..
